I was the bottleneck on my own sales, so I flipped the default to send

I can make a decision fast. My problem is pulling the trigger on it. I noticed myself hesitating while sending a batch of emails I had already decided to send, so I changed the default my agent runs on.

The hesitation was the cost, not the decision

My judgment was not the bottleneck. The action was. Every approval step I added gave my own hesitation another place to live. A flow that asks me to confirm twice before each send is a flow built around my worst habit.

So I inverted it. For routine outbound that I have already decided on, the default is send. If I want to stop something, I do it with a single word or a single tap. The friction moved from acting to stopping, which is exactly backwards from how most people set this up, and exactly right for me.

Autonomy where it is safe, a pause where it is not

This is not a license to be reckless. Irreversible or expensive actions, the kind that spend money or cannot be undone, still stop and ask. The send-unless-stopped default is only for the legitimate, already-decided, routine work.

The result is that the request comes in and the work gets done, instead of sitting in a queue waiting for me to stop second-guessing a call I already made. For anyone who knows they hesitate, this one change is worth more than any feature.

If hesitation is your bottleneck, the fix is a better default. We design those in. Reach out.
