My AI set up a new customer in two systems so the money lands in the right place by itself
I was moving a client off a free tier onto a ninety nine dollar a month subscription. Laura created the customer in QuickBooks, created the matching customer in Stripe, built the recurring product and price, generated the payment link, and tied it all together with metadata so the two systems would agree.
The part that usually breaks
When your billing tool and your books do not know about each other, the first payment shows up as a mystery deposit, or it lands under Sample Customer and aggregates into a line item that tells you nothing. Then someone has to go reconcile it by hand, every month, forever.
Laura set it up so that does not happen. Because the Stripe customer, the price, and the payment link all carry matching metadata, the next payment flows into the right place in the books on its own. The wiring is done once, correctly, and the monthly reconciliation just disappears.
I kept the human part
I wrote the actual email to the client asking them to move tiers. That is the relationship, and that stays mine. Laura built the plumbing underneath it, the product, the price, the customer records, the link that connects a payment to the correct income line.
That split is the pattern. The agent does the setup that spans systems and would otherwise cost you an afternoon of clicking. You keep the conversation with the actual person.
